Rotary International offers a broad range of humanitarian, intercultural, and educational programs and activities designed to improve the human condition and advance the organization's ultimate goal of world understanding and peace. The most significant is PolioPlus, which is dedicated to the worldwide eradication of Polio.

Other projects include Preserving Planet Earth, Disabled Persons, Health Care, Children at Risk, as well as more.

The last three years in particular, the Rotary Club of Queretaro has heartily adopted one of the International Organization's burgeoning projects: the need for drinking water in the world. To date, the "Water for All" program has provided 15 tanks of drinking water to 15 different communities in the municipality of Queretaro.

These tanks are a result of the Rotary Club of Queretaro's fundraising efforts, sister clubs throughout the world, and 12 Matching Grants from individual districts and the Rotary foundation. The Rotary Club of Queretaro has set a goal of raising $100,000 for the project in the next year, which will provide 25 tanks total.

The Rotary Club of Queretaro's projects each address a different genre of Rotary International's Projects:

"Water for All" Program
The Club provides drinking water to rural villages by installing 10,400 liter (2,750 gallon) custom steel tanks. Twelve tanks were installed during the 2005-2006 Rotary year, and there are plans for more.
PROPACE
The club built and maintains the building for this physical rehabilitation center for children with cerebral palsy, as well as financially supporting the organization on a regular basis.
Santa Maria el Mexicano
The club provides a complete set of new clothes to every orphan, every year, and built the orphanage's library and provided the books.
FIQMA
The club financially sponsors the replanting of foliage and protection of the natural environment in Queretaro.
